In observance of the Elderly Filipino Month Celebration, Valenzuela City Mayor WES Gatchalian (center) gifts double-lens eyeglasses to 450 qualified senior citizens during the Libreng Pasalamin para kina Lolo at Lola, at the ALERT Multipurpose Hall, November 9. Valenzuela City Social Welfare and Development Office and the Office of the Senior Citizens' Affairs (OSCA) were able to allocate another gift for the city’s elderly. The initiative of OSCA is supported by the Optometrist Society of CAMANAVA, the beneficiaries have undergone free testing last October 26, 2022. In addition, there is a continuous medical mission for when one can also avail of free eyeglasses and check-up. (Kaye Magno, Photo/Text)
